Who we are?
Oxfam Great Britain is a leading global development and humanitarian organisation. We have been working in East Asia for the past 50 years on issues of poverty and inequalities. Currently, we operate in Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. We are looking for dynamic Thai citizen for the following position based in its Regional Centre, Bangkok – Thailand
I.Regional Policy and research Intern
The main task of this role
1.To undertake policy analysis and research:
• Review policy documents, research and literature; web-based research; scan media / collect relevant policy news items; monitor policy reports; draft research reports and other briefing papers related to economic and development issues etc.
2. To provide administrative and logistic support:
• Organize policy and media events and workshops; schedule lobby meetings and appointments; prepare presentations and documentations, maintain a data base on key external contacts.
3. Perform other tasks as may be requested by the supervisor.
Who we are looking for?
• University degree in economics, political science, or other related social sciences
• Native Thai with English proficiency (esp. writing and reading)
•An understanding of policy research and experience in research work undertaken as part of the studies
• Interest in learning about development issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• Ability to work to a deadline and have strong problem-solving skills
Internship is a volunteer based with small stipend provided.
II. Human Resources Intern
Here is a partial list of what you could be accomplishing should you join us:
•Support with development of HR process & procedures
•Support the day-to-day office administration
•Support recruitment processes
•Manages archives. Maintain up to date HR files
•Monitor updates on Management and HR best practices and related reference materials
•Support organising meetings, workshops and training events
Note: The internship will be customised to fit your experience and interest.
The internship gives you the opportunity to work with several different professionals, providing you exposure to the many avenues of recruitment.
Who we are looking for?
•Thai National
•Bachelor degree studying or graduated in any field with 0-3 years of experience
•Related work experience in HR is advantage
•Computer and internet skills
•Ability to communicate in English
•Strong interpersonal, written and organization skills
